Is there a resource that shows dyno runs with some of the different aftermarket pipes on a Thruxton? I've heard that D&Ds add about 6 rwhp and I'm wondering how my TORs stack up. I'm also interested in the performance gains from the Predators. My next mod is going to be the air box eliminator kit, but if I can get even more performance from different pipes I will add those at the same time.

i got zero with my staintunes (by seat of the pants eval). i'm sure the TORs are likewise. dunno about D&D.

i did get a dyno from southbay triumph that showed a nice increase from the predators. something like +10hp and +5t.

doing the trio of pipes, jetting, and NARK = much satisfaction in zoom-zoom, as well as the aural delight. you won't regret the investment :-D

I have seen Dyno power curves from a Thruxton, first in standard trim, then with TORs and snorkel out. Max. power is the same: 64 hp at rear wheel. Power is up substantially at anywhere between 2000 and 6500 rpm, e.g. 6 hp at 4000 rpm, and over 10% more torque (measured in Nm) in the midrange.

What does the snorkel removal do? HP gain? Sound gain? Any downside?

I have an '02 Bonneville, and I am pushing about 73 rwhp now. I am using D&D's, AI removal, airbox elimination kit, K&N pod filters, 150 main jets, 45 pilots, 2 shims under the needles, and 3 turns out on the air/fuel mixture screws. I am quite pleased. I believe there are some pictures under "Christov" on the member maintained photo album #1 I think they're on page 7 or 8. I hope this helps some.

My day to day experience agrees with dialysis' assessment. Top end does not seem any greater, but the midrange is a lot fatter and the sound and rush are a lot more satisfying.
