Bigdummy and Beachfin we all seem to be in the same general area. We should get together for a ride, would love to hear those pipes.

Scratches don't make it go any slower.

What is the clearance with rider? I really like the pipes, but catching on everything does not excite me very much... also morbidly curious about how they sound.

I know! I'm in need of a left side TOR, but am seriously considering this instead. Has anyone else produced anything like this? I've seen the high pipes, but this product is very unique.

Wonder what keeps the exhaust from being flatter/wider rather than round? I know very little about exhaust design, but that sure would cure the clearance issue. I suppose if you bang and scrape them enough, it tends to flatten out over time.....

Raising/moving outboard would kill lean angle. I'm sure they kicked this around given how close to the ground they are.

I've only scraped three times in over four months, mostly just being a dumbass and not thinking or when I had the wife on back going down a crappy road, much easier just to drag the pipes for a sec...
As long as you remember and hit things at an angle it's not much of an issue. Sometimes I'm just an idiot. Speed bumps aren't really an issue, just drive like a tiny blonde lady in a giant SUV through the parking lot and you'll do just fine.

Trust me, what you get in performance will make up for the few nicks and scratches that you'll get, and you'll only notice them when you're pulling the exhaust to change the oil, or pulling the pipes to put it up on a jack, or pulling the pipes to do just about anything 'cause they're in the **** way.

Adding the K&Ns, the D&D exhaust and going up one tooth on the front sprocket really changes the bike. I rarely even see fifth until over 70mph for any decent amount of time.

OK, those either aren't as loud as I expected or I have the speaker volume down on my computer too far.

But thank you very much for the video, Nice to finally put a sound to the pictures.

hmmmm....

I absolutely love the 'low idle rumble'...but it seems rather 'high pitched' to me when reved. Still like them though...and (I think) I still want them.....

They might not seem loud, let me assure they are. There are no baffles or sound attenuing materials

Biggest difference to normal TT pipes is that it has more of an rumble and more pleasant tone on higher revs. Riding wise there does not seem to be any torque loss and the rev limiter comes in awfully fast....
I have an slight hesitation from idle to 2K, I'll try to close the idle mixture a bit today (155 mains, 45 pilots , drilled slides, 1 shim all unwanted crap out with pods).

How would you compare the volume to say, a Harley with drag pipes?... I'm not trying to deafen neighborhood children, but I would like to scare away the turkey vultures and make the idiot in the Infinity drop his cell phone.
