Found a TBS on Craigslist.

It's in San Francisco.

**** that's cheap! Shame it's 5000 miles away!! I'm toying with the idea of building one as a '60s style racer for my next project. Full fairing, long skinny tank and a small seat hump - all in Triumph white, with red + blue stripe. I just love the sound of a triple through open peashooters. Better still, graft one into a Bonneville/Thrux frame if I can find one with a blown engine (unlikely).

Cheers Johnny

I had one of those. It's a regular T-Bird, not a Sport. So that means you have non-adjustable suspension. And the stock monoshock rear is super-soggy. I put progressives up front, but without stiffening up the rear (with a whole new shock), the bike handled awfully. Nice motor though.

I had my '02 TBird when I bought my '04 Bonnie. Liked the Bonnie way better.

Still that's a good price for a daily rider.

A 988 Wiseco kit would make the hurt go away.
