I'd Forgotten.....

How hard you can actually ride the Thruxton, its 75 and sunny today here in Colorado and I spent the afternoon on the Thrux, riding the canyons. It had been a while since I really rode hard and was a little tentative in the corners, then it happened, a sport bike (I think it was a Yamaha) passed me in one of the canyons. I ended up dragging pegs on every corner chasing this sport bike down and managed to keep up till the bottom, at the stop light the dude on the sport bike looked at me and said "I didn't know a little triumph could do what you just made it do"

Kudos to Triumph for producing such an excellent machine.

I was close to Lyons thinking about heading to Estes and hopping on the Peak2peak last weekend but I thought the roads might still be gravel covered. I ended up staying on the flats. Sounds like it's pretty clear...but probably not after tonight.

Obviously this morning is not so clear, I did ride up boulder canyon and across the peak to peak, The peak to peak was clear from nederland to ward, but from ward to the St. Vrain Canyon there was still quite a bit of gravel, St. Vrain was perfect.
