There is a jetting database in the Twin Talk forum , but the Bonneville's jetting is different and not very useful to us. So let's do a jetting database of our own.

Proposed format:
Bike:
Altitude:
Jets, Mains:
Jets, Pilots:
Pilot Screw Adjustment: [ ] turns out
Needle Shims:
Mods:

Bike-2004 thrux
Alt-150-200feet
Main jets- 128
Pilot jets- standard
Turns on Pilot- 3.25
Needle - 1.5mm rise
Slide- standard

Mods - K&N's, AI removed

Much more punch now but not front wheel lifting as reported elsewhere but still running standard pipes.

120 mains was too weak - caused hestiation at high throttle & rpm.

132 and 136 did not seem to offer anything over 128 mains.

Rising the needle improved throttle response I felt.

All tests done by 'riding around the block' today in the sunshine :-)

Different pipes and dyno setup to come one day:

Bike-2004 thrux
Alt-150-200feet
Main jets- 134
Pilot jets- standard
Turns on Pilot- 3.25
Needle - 1 shim
Slide- standard

Mods - K&N's, AI removed, Mototwins fitted.

BHP: 73.5bph Crankshaft DIN at 7215rpm

134 main jet as was weak at top end on the dyno now pulls very strong to the red line where as struggled to get beyond 6500 before. See Dyno plot

Needs gearing up according to dyno man. (19T sitting in garage waiting to be fitted :-) )

Going to try 42 pilot out of interest - not really sure I could tell the difference
