Seriously. I have the bellacorse airbox removal kit with oversize jets, and the TOR pipes. I was letting the bike idle in the garage coz I like the engine sound and was also gonna play with the idle screws, and I noticed that the headers were glowing a dull red after about five minutes. BTW, idle screws were about 3 turns out.
Any ideas? Is this normal? It looked pretty sweet...

I'd have to say that wouldn't be all that unusual. However, I'd caution you against prolonged idling due to heat. An air cooled engine requires airflow for cooling.
Have you removed the Air Injection ? (I'm guessin with the NARK & TORS's you have) If not rip it off and the exhaust will be cooler.
Triumph use single wall headers so they're gonna glow when really hot!
Cheers, and enjoy your new toy.

Thanks CYNCRZR! Air injection is the next to go...though as noted those glowing pipes look pretty bitchin. Suppose I just never noticed it 'cuz I don't normally just let the bike sit and idle in dim light.

My Bonnie does that too. If I let it sit and idle to warm up and it's dark outside, I can see the headers glowing dull red. Looks kind of cool, actually. And that's with a stock airbox.

That AI has got to go. While the glow does look kind of cool, there is nothing good about having header pipe temps that are that hot. You want to keep some heat in the headers to promote scavenging but not so that you could roast hotdogs off the pipes!

I can`t believe, with all the whining about the lack of storage space on the Thrux, you would have the gall to jettison the factory weenie roaster. :-D where will your coleman fit so snugly and with so much panache!

It's not a factory weenie roaster, it's a factory cigarette lighter.
