NY Motorcycle Show - Why no Triumph AGAIN?
Just got back from the NY MC show at the Javits center; not too shabby this year, with some interesting new models from the major manufacturers and vendors galore as usual.

One thing I did notice is that once again Triumph was nowhere to be seen. Last time they appeared was when the Rocket III first came out. What I don't understand is, how is it that smaller manufacturers like Ural and KTM make it a point to show their products every year but Triumph doesn't? I was really looking forward to seeing the 08 Triumph lineup (and specifically checking out the changes to the Thruxton), but once again they didn't show.

Why doesn't Triumph become more involved in showing their products at trade shows in the U.S.? Seems like poor marketing to me.

And some other bikes as well - which don't.

I don't think that T participates in many (or any) shows. I don't know why.

You'd think they'd want the exposure...kinda dumb,I think.

Moto Guzzi next time?
Triumph was at Milan and Paris as well as the "London"" show they even showed a bunch of new accesoires like the Arrow 2 into 1 sytem for the Bonneville. there were two Triumphs at NY one at the AMA booth and another with the Pit Bull guys People were swarming all over the $11,000 Urals, hell even Kymco and Hyosung were there but alas no Triumph for America I am looking forward to next year when Moto Guzzi will have the new V7 reincarnation if they feel the USA is important maybe I should give more consideration to their products and less to those who ignore us

If you looked in the parking lot with all the Mfg's trucks in it there was a Triumph Truck there.
