Race Tech Gold Valve kits (CBR F3 mod)

I am going to tackle the F3 fork conversion mod ,and was wondering what the difference between the Race Tech Gold Valve kit, Gold Valve G2-R Next Generation ,and the Rebound Gold Valve kits were ? I am not sure which kit for the CBR F3 I would need to order.
Would I also want to replace the F3 forks seals with new ones when I get around to doing this mod?

My understanding of this mod is the only Triumph part I would reuse are the lower fork legs (#2 in the picture)The rest are from the F3 ,and Race Tech (if I choose to upgrade)

Red, I believe you are correct. I have not completed mine, medical reasons have delayed me. Check w/ Thrux-ton-up and Thruxtonone, they were the firsts. Also, do a search, plenty of threads on this mod. Good luck.

You will be using your triumph fork seals and dust boots, so, assuming low mileage you will not need to replace them. I did not go to race tech, others have but I do not know if they compared to stock Honda valving. You may want to try it in two stages. The stock Honda parts are a nice gain

I did the Race Tech Gold Valve upgrade and I love it. It’s much better than the stock Honda valving and light years better than the stock Triumph setup.

The basic replacement of the Triumph internals wasn’t so bad but (for me) installing the gold valves was nightmarish.

In the end I brought it to a qualified Honda mechanic to clean up my mess.

I would have to say it was one of the better “bangs for the buck” as far as upgrades go.

Good Luck

Race Tech

I don't know what the differences are in the Race Tech valves, but their support line was very helpful when I got a emulator kit from them. The really seem interested in good service.

Thanks for the info guys ...I know I maybe beating this topic to death?

If I go to all this trouble should I consider ordering custom spring rate to my weight as well ?
Dose John Deere sell F3 springs ??
