Another little mod I planned to do before I even put deposit down
Still got some tidying up to do, but it is now really comfortable to ride.

You can use almost any bars from ace to apes, I used 5" rise similar to old Triumph western bars, a style I have used on many bikes over the years including a proper slimline triton in the sixtys.
New clutch cable, brake line & extended electrics, because my bars are so high compared to stock, but I can ride all day now with no pain so definately worth it (to me anyway)

I saw another post somewhere where the person used bar risers on the clipons to get an inch of rise and used all the existing cabling etc!

I believe you are speaking of @Scotty UK. It wasn't quite that simple. The extended brake line is the main thing holding me back from higher bars.

I raised my bars two inches without having to extend the wiring, you should maybe get three inches at a push. I was going straight up with the rise, if you are going to go up and wider you may have a bigger job on your hands, because their are a lot of wires that will need lengthening..
I used the clutch cable straight from a T120
The really fun part was the front brake line, I made and fitted a new one. Problem is where the ABS unit is, all the way under the swing arm. I had to remove the tank, panels, seat, drive sprocket cover, coolant reservoir ,rectifier/regulator, carbon emissions box, ABS cover, loosen the exhaust silencers, remove the rear shocks, lift the rear wheel up as far as I could and support it, then I could just about get to the front brake line banjo bolt.
Be careful bleeding the line, if you don't get it right you may need to get Triumph to bleed the ABS system electronically. I got away with it by using my air fed brake bleeder.

The job was a ball-ache....still got to get round to tidying the wiring.

I've been trying to think up ways to add height to the stock clip-ons, but I have to say that I think what TriRocket3 has done does actually look great. Maybe this is the actual answer.

Hey TriRocket3, what are the actual bars? 7/8" or 1"? I presume the former so all the controls would fit. What shape are they, is there a name for them? Where did you get them? Is the top clamp a std. Triumph item - from which bike?
