Thruxton 1200 dying unexpectantly

I know many of us had this issue early on but I have not heard lately if anyone is still having the issue. My Thruxton still does if I don't give the throttle a little blip before I pull away after a stop.

Are some of you still seeing the issue? For those who had the issue and no longer have, what did your dealer do to resolve the issue?

Many thanks.

My first service reset adaptation fixed the stalling issue.
Clicking/knocking when blipping/snapping the throttle at idle still ongoing...but now documented by service manager.

You can do your own Reset Adaptation by starting the engine from cold without touching the throttle, then letting it idle until the fan comes on, then letting it idle another 12 minutes before shutting it down.

I did that and it fixed the problem I was having with long crank times or not starting on the first try without giving it throttle.

For those who had the stalling problem fixed at first service, what procedure corrected the problem? My dealer service says they've never encountered the problem! Yet from the earliest media reviews of the new Thruxton, reports of the engine inexplicably dying have been around.

From the first day, mine has intermittently died on me when coasting the last few feet to a stop with the clutch in.

Additionally, blipping the throttle for a downshift will sometimes produce a loud spark knock, like the timing has gone completely awry. Anyone else besides Adamantium and me encounter this problem?

I've had the bike die twice in the exact same way - slowing for a turn and blipping the throttle while downshifting to second. My solution for now is to not blip while downshifting, which is hard to do after riding a '71 Bonneville for twelve years, but it will be the first thing I ask about when I take it in for the 500 mile service...

Never had my Thruxton R stall or die on me. However I did note that after the first service at 500 miles a new map had been installed - bike running fine and I haven't as yet noted any difference in how the bike performs or feels.

Maybe this new map is to cure stalling/potential stalling issues? Either way I'm loving this bike.

The tune is much improved but my bike died in 3rd gear the same day (last Saturday) that I got it installed, so it seems it won't correct that issue. Maybe it has to do with the clutch/ride by throttle/other components.

I was fairly sure it was the flame out issue as some suggested because the bike runs lean...

Any idea what number the tune is and whats your bikes build date? Mines built August 16 and dealer told me there are no maps available or required for my bike. Having said that it runs perfectly. No flat spot, hesitation or clicking noise at idle as some have mentioned previously
