Okay, BTTT. I've spent the last few weeks doing all those little jobs that need doing before a rebuild and make for boring posts so I've spared you the tedium!

Here's the last post, with powder coated frame (beautiful job BTW), before my final rebuilt shots. I reckon about 7 to 10 days should see it back together. I've splashed out on flatslides but I reckon I'll need to wait till next winter to fit the 904 kit and port the head etc (need a new kitchen/garage/insert other expensive household project).

Enjoy (until I can work out how to post high quality shots of the rebuilt bike). Photobucket?? Can anyone help??

It's gonna be beautiful. However, since it seems you've more or less fabbed your (what's that European word?) pillion out of the picture, I'm surprised you've not removed the passenger peg mounts.

Johnny & Bruce,

Your bikes are really coming along nicely. I'm inspired! I cherish my Tank Shop tank & seat and don't see myself parting with them any time soon.

Love the project photos guys. Keep 'em coming.

I will probably have inter-changable dual and solo seats as my wife likes to ride with from time to time. So I am cutting down the old seat to fit. A main consideration is that I would not like to disturb the line of the rear mud guard, so I am thinking about mounting the tail light at the end of the seat/or at least at the same height.

I wanted to first see how the tank and fenders looked before I change too many other things. I do like the riding position with M-bars and rear-sets. Any ideas? (particularly regarding the seats).

Cheers, Bruce

Pillion peg mounts are still there for mounting the exhausts. I thought about cutting them off and making drilled alloy brackets but figured that the originals would be stronger and look more period.

The fenders are rolled blanks from http://www.discovolantemoto.co.uk/index.jsp

I cut them to size and polished them.

Thanks - John Williams did do the fenders and I am very happy with them. John is a very nice guy and does some beautiful work. He threw the mudguards in for free as it took over a year for the tank. They are on his website for 230 pounds.

Cutting down a Thruxton gel seat this weekend to fit. Like the look of Robnobrakes' alloy cowling made by John. May venture back in those waters... even though it takes a while. Bruce
