I have a newbie(stupid) question in regards to this thread.

When you say "Stock" you mean the way it's jetted from the factory ,and how my dealer should have it set when the buyer takes ownership of the bike ?

You are correct.

I'm not a carb or jetting expert, but Internet "research" seems to confirm that stock jetting is normally 120 Mains and 42 Pilots for twins with CVK36 carbs.

Also "stock" means original exhaust pipes with the baffles are in place, the air box is in place, the air injection system is in place, and standard paper air filters are being used. If any of these items have been altered, then you can expect the "stock" main/pilot/turns to be different. Also, the elevation at which you plan to ride the bike could affect the jets installed by your dealer.

I highly recommend "Pat's Triumph Site" for your own crash course.

Why does jenk's Bolts site have a "Stock" setting as 110/40/2.5 ? Dose Triumph provide this info. I just want a base line to start from.

40/110-115 come stock on the 790's and Thrux. I believe the Speedys and Americas come with 42's. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
