So I really dislike the Triumph led indicators. They just seem to futuristic to me.Not sure how many electric experts are out there but perhaps you could help me out - I want to have smaller led signals installed.

Either these as simple replacements to the existing monsters:

and/or these in replacement of the rear signals + stop sign:

In any case I think I'll need these to adapt the watts:

I really appreciate your advice fellas.

:smile2: Looks like I'll be the guinea pig!

You'll need the adapters if you do not want to cut wires. And potentially some type of adapter plate for the stem depending on how the rizoma stem differs from the stock mounting point. It should be relatively plug and play though. It was when I put rizomas on my T100.
When you say "adapters" you mean the ones I indicated on the 3rd link?

Dont forget that my dealer is saying that if you do not match the resistance/voltage of the oem LEDs exactly the bike will go into "limp mode"

I'm hoping that the aftermarket will figure a way to get around that but 90% of the aftermarket signals out there still dont have built-in resistors to make them blink correctly. and this has been a problem for many years.

I'd love for someone to prove this rumor wrong...
Alright boys - I'll have this rumor sorted out by the end of the month.

Can you let me know what problems you had and how you resolved them? Reason I ask is I have some off-brand ebay cheap LEDs on the way (size, style and price) and maybe you can help me avoid some troubles?

Odd.... I was able to order it through BikeBandit. (I guess whether they ship it or not is another story....) So it will fit a US plate without looking like it's too big?

I sent R&G a request to cancel the order on their Tail Tidy.

Thanks.

As could I back in June. They told me they'd be able to get them, however, this was the message they sent me after I placed the order...

As far as I understand, it comes in sections. You're able to leave off the middle section so it'll fit a US plate better. Several people on here have done exactly that.

Change of plans.

I'm taking the Rizoma indicators back and cancelled my order for the R&G Tail Tidy. For less than the price of the 4 Rizomas by themselves, I'm going with Triumph OEM FEK and LED Indicators ordered to the US from World of Triumph. Less hassle in wiring, and I think I'll like the 'classic' look of the OEM LEDs better than the minimalist/hidden style of the Rizomas.

Just installed a FEK from Motortrio and works great. I now have installed matching signals on the front and when I hook up all 4 lights they don't work? I can run any two lights off any two wires, but not all 4 for some reason? I tried to reset the system using the "i" button, but not luck. Any ideas? These are not LED lights either.

Same problem here. Only left side works properly and the right side is dead. I have regular bulb indicators with the correct volts and watts bulb as stock indicators but it still won't work. And I've tried every possible arrangements....I believe it's the indicators itself that is the problem. Think I will give the Max Micro bullet LED indicators from ebay a try.

I think I found the problem. My new signals have changed the resistance in the system. This causes the ECU to fault. I need to measure the resistance between the stock lights and new ones and put a resistor in to get it back in range.

I tested all of them and the new rears work with the stock fronts, but not with the new fronts. The new ones work in either location as long as there are only two in the system.
