I didn't "go back" - I go "back and forth". Great thing about interchangeability. Right now, the cowl seat is for around town, and the Corbin is for distance - 300 + miles.

I have a spare rear fender, so am considering bobbing and modding it instead of repainting the striper. We'll see.

Anyone ever try that chrome metallic paint on fenders? I wonder how it would look and hold up...

As for the front end - it is all in who you know, right Stunta? ;-) My advice to you is to go and find a TBS buddy, convince them that they MUST do the same mod the TBS Stunta did to his TBS, and then scarf up his spare forks!

Scot – I did not know you went back to the Corbin solo, the TBS solo looks great with the painted and striped cowling. How did you find a TBS front end? Great find.

Hmmm... looking at the Omar's Manx Yammer... maybe black is a better color to go with on the fenders..... it kind of blends it back into the bike..... :???:

Hmmm, if I had realized how precious the TBS front end is I would have charged you more Scot. :wink: :-D

Hmmm, if I had realized how precious the TBS front end is I would have charged you more Scot.

Hmmm........ Why not just locate a Speed triple owner and convince him to put some racing front end on his, then graft his extra parts on a standard bird?

I like what Larry has done to his TBvS, except for the front fender. That looks too modern for the rest of the bike.

I think it was Indian Larry that said that a bike just ain't right unless it has at least one spoked wheel..... ;-) MHO and 2 cents....
