On a T-100 ? No way ! . Get it fixed . A good body shop can do it right . If I could trade tanks with you I would . I have a Thruxie . It would be such a sacrilege to do that to a hand painted tank . Definitely consider getting it fixed and getting a tankslapper film to protect the tank.

What tank bag were you using that did this? I want to make sure I keep that thing off my baby.

I stripped the tank on my Thruxton 1 month after I bought it 3 years ago. Used an air sander and sanding disc - took maybe 30 minutes. No problem getting the paint off. Also stripped all the plastic down - a little more tedious due to the soft nature of the material.

it was a triumph tank bag for a tiger 1050, it's not the bags fault i set it down in a hurry and put it back on and it picked up small pieces of magnetite.
