I finally intalled my X-Arc turn signal/ brake/running lights and I love them. They've were laying around for a year and I finally got them done, long over due. Winter time puts me on the road more often after sun down due to the shorter days so I wanted to be more visible and these things are highly visible. The are expensive but I think they are worth it quality build and Perfomance and they are so tiny. My cat eye tail light now looks weak next to the Tech Speed lights. I also installed the Truck lite head lamp there are already a lot of post on this one but if you haven't read, straight up plug in, pain in the butt to fit in chrome ring, great improvement over OEM. I'm significantly more visible than before.
I put a TruckLite LED headlamp in another bike. I found the razor sharp cut-off and contrast created by the bright white light in darkness to be dizzying when I was going around corners. Or maybe I was just being too sensitive, or maybe it's because that bike had a fixed headlight (Ducati 900SS) compared to the Bonnie's fork mounted light.
I find that it has a very wide illumination area more than I think I need, Proberly good for seeing a deer or something converging from the side. It also has what I call a wiggly worm of light that you see on the pavement as you look straight ahead, dispite all that it does illuminate well and the high beam is like POW! Overall good illumination for around $75.00
Has anyone tried this? I have the ruck lite now and low the light it puts out but it looks weird sticking out of the cowl so much. Can't get any headlight guard to fit around the trucklite.
