Is the stock Thruxton seat a full seat if you remove the cowl or is just a single (half-seat) with the cowl under plastic? if not, does anyone have a picture what the stock seat looksl like w/ the cowl off?

Thanks

Thanks for the pics. Thats what I was looking for, stock looking thruxton w/ cowl removed and heli-bars or BC CRK on.

Joe: smoother or more comfortable riding bike w/ the new bars on it?

Dave-

Those are Tomaselli's installed above the top yoke on Honda 98 CBR F3 cartridge fork.

The performance with the race tech gold valves installed is fantastic but my real goal was to the bring my riding position a little more upright.

Here is a pic of my better half.
Granted she has her feet on the ground but she's only 5'2 with pretty short arms and still not as hunched over as i was with the stock setup.

I'm 6'2 with long arms, i think I'd add the heli bars or BC set up.

Sitting hunched over w/ the stock clip ons would not be my preference.

thx,
dave-

Here's my rig with bars from British Customs and a seat I change in 20 seconds with BC's thumb screws so I can pack mama around on week-end jaunts. Is this what you're looking for?

Here's a set of Heli bars that I modified so they look more like stock clip on's so your not leaning over as far.
