The s/s wire isn't attached to the side panel yet, but I had to do a mock up to see what it looked like. Painted satin black - to match the front fender I painted last weekend.

I hope you were there with a chum. Otherwise I'd be a little irked to discover that the random Thruxton parked right next to mine had the same custom sidecovers. :-D

it looks there is a little Ace Of Spades thing going on here ... you're giving me ideas :upthumb:

Rob - I've admired your bike & mods for a while. Shame I didn't make it to the Ace last week, it completely passed me by. I would have loved to se your bike up close. Maybe next time :chug:

Rob - did you get those side covers made up specially, or are they available elsewhere for sale?

Triton & Cafe Racer day at the ACE also passed me by, completely un-noticed!! :???:

Hi Garry

I had the side covers made specially by a local guy. I made my own brackets, riveted to the covers, so they could be mounted onto the existing side pod mounts. The covers are not polished. I finished mine to suit my taste. Jack Lilley charge £120.00 PER SIDE for their covers. If you are interested, I can check to see if my guy will make up any more. He is busy, so I can't quote delivery times. PM me if you want any further information/prices etc.

Here's a close up of the panel before final finishing and brackets I fabricated.

And the finished product.
