Anyone else out there with large feet (12+) missing up shifts on their Thruxton. I always wear boots with a lugged vibram sole. If I miss shift it is usually 2nd to 3rd. Always at higher rpm's.

I used to have the same problem with lugged soles...I thought it was just me. I just have to make sure to release ALL the pressure on the shifter before the next gear.

I have 13's with steel toes and it happens when I get in a hurry to wind it up and shift it hard. I found I just have to make sure to pop my foot all the way to the top with force instead of just flicking my ankle and assuming the lever will go high enough.

thanks for the advice. Shifts much better when I let it fully reset. I guess I am just used to my sloppy old Kaw.
