after riding old bmw r75's and r50's, and even a new ducati sport classic, i'm thinking that what i really want is a triumph bonneville -- i'm thinking it's just more versatile, can be acessorized, and looks great. so...here's my question:
a) am i nuts?
b) unfortunately the dealer here in toronto, canada went belly up. ao should i be worried about servicing since the next closest dealer is about 80kms away?
or does anyone know of an independent that would service these bikes in toronto?
i've done a lot of my own work, but it's nice to have that back-up.

Go for it - 80kms is NOTHING. Besides these bikes are so reliable and easy to maintain you will probably never need to take it to the dealer. Unless you want them to do some maintenance for you. On your other question, we are all a little nuts so why worry?
