It's time for me to replace my tires and I've chosen Pirelli Sport Demons. My question is, should I get a 140/70-17 or a 140/80-17 for the rear? I'm going with 110/80-18 on the front.

I went with the stock sizes front and rear on my Bonnie per recomendations here and LOVE them. They are pretty well matched, run out of tire front and rear at the same time or lean angle I should say. Took them to Deals Gap and have zero complaints.

I have 110/80 front and 140/80 back . Good tires but next
set will be Michelin Pilot Road 2ct 110/80 and 150/70.

I'm using standard sizes - not sure if there is anything to be gained from going bigger unless you have replaced the rims.

I would also like to fit the Pilot 2CT's once I have changed my front rim for a 17" rim. I'm advised by a UK supplier that the smallest rear available in the 2CT is a 160x60x17. The smallest front is a 120x70x17".

The Michelin HP says 150x70-17 and 110x80-18.
