being that my first bike has a vacuum controlled petcock, i constantly forget to shut off the fuel on my new bike. will this flood the carbs out ? is it ok to leave on, or should i try to remember to close it? :???: Mike

Try to remember to close it. You only have a problem if the float needle does not seat. If it were to leak you could flood, end up with hydraulic lock or have fuel all over the floor. Better safe than sorry.-T1
