Gents,
I have had the BC wide rear wheel for over a year. I had no problems whatsoever. My Pilot Power wore out and after a replacement, the tire/wheel is out of round.
I r and r'd the tire twice, it's definitely the rim. I can see it on the balancer with the naked eye.
The dealer is saying it's a bad rim. They showed me the welds and they are corroded. The shop guy says the rim looks like a remanufactured one. I'll post a pic of it in a minute.
I have never heard of this, but I don't know jack about rims. I haven't talked to Sean yet at BC, b/c I wanted to check this out.
Opinions appreciated.

Hey Hozer, no offense, but maybe you should of talked with the guys at British Customs before throwing them under the bus on a public forum.
I know your not doing it intentionally, but never the less...

Hozer,I`m sorry that I have no answers for you,but I feel your pain.I was more scared getting my tires mounted on my rims, than I was paying for my bike and riding away from the dealer, without even Sitting on the bike beforehand.Dymag told me they were tough SOBs,but you never know which chucklehead is going to try his hand at the mounting machine for the first time. I got very lucky with mine,as I took it to a [THE] largest Honda dealer in Wa.,explained my concerns to the counter guy,and he pulled their lead tire guy off of a job and handed him my babies.Turns out the guy races a Euro spec Blackbird that comes factory with Dymags and knew exactly how to treat them. I hope that if your hoops are bad, that BC will step up and remedy the problem. :???:

I must be mis understanding something, cuz I didn`t read anything negative about BC in his post. Just wondering about how to approach a crappy situation.I`m sure they stand behind their products or at least will offer a solution. :???:

I hope so as well.
I guess the best way to go about things is just to call them up and ask them what the heck...

I was definitely NOT throwing BC under the bus. Those guys have been great. I knowingly paid more for my ohlins' piggybacks from them, b/c of their customer service.

I admit I know little about rims, I still don't know if they can just get out of round on their own (via metal fatigue).

As I stated, I will call BC on Tuesday, just wanted to gut check the issue out here first.

Thanks again.
