Any of you guys using tomaselli bars and napoleon bar end mirrors? I have some napoleons, but I am having trouble mounting them. The tomasellis have a hollow bar, but only a short peice of the end of the bar has a large enough inside diameter to fit the rubber expander and nut on the mirrors. I trimmed the rubber piece down to the right length, but now the mirror when attached is not really solidly attached, and the rubber expander is creeping its way out of the bar.
Any suggestions on how to make this work?
Sorry, I'm not really interested in CRG or rhizomas due to personal preference and already having the napoleons in hand.
Thanks!

I just recently installed Tomaselli's and had the same problem with my Napolean mirror's.
What I did in the end is used a washer on both side's on the rubber expander. This way I could really tighten the bolt up and now it sit's in there really tight and expander stopped creeping out of the bars.
I also had to make the rubber expander quite short but with this setup the mirror doesn't move.

Alright! Thanks for the tip - so that's two washers, one on either end of a shortened rubber stopper? I'll have to give it a try. I was about to take the clipons apart and have the inside diameter milled at a machine shop, but your solution seems much less complicated.

Yeah it worked well for mine but I also had to make the rubber expander really short, probably about half the lenght of the space available in the handlebar otherwise as it was expanding it did keep popping out of the bar.
Mine is rock solid now so you should be right.

Cheers.
