Just got back from a wonderful weekend at Barber Motorsports park in Birmingham, AL for the AMA Superbike races. I have never been to any type of race before, had a great time, even saw TBSstuntas bike there (I think). Here are some pics you might like from the museum. I spent 3 hours in there, and could have spent 6.

The Norvin gets my vote. Check out my album for larger pics.

Thanks man, I needed that. That motorcycle Christmas tree to the coolest of the cool. Not a dog in the bunch. I will concur that Norvins ROCK.

Steve, gears and such

The Vincent is the famed Black Shadow. they actually fired up the Ariel, it has a square four and sounded so much like a modern 4 cylinder. I highly recommend the museum, amazing stuff.

I was there last August for California Superbike School.
I got a little scared when I saw this pics as I thought they were mine. I took almost exactly the same pics.

Nice job. Highly recomend going.

I love the look of the Nor-vin, looks solid and very classic lines.

Cheers,

Brett

Ariel, Norvin, yeah baby!

Went to the old museum a few years ago. And went to the Alabama Sports Hall Fame. There is a display of an old archer that did a lot of Hollywood stunts & has the record of the first (only?) elephant kill with an arrow (it is on display). Steel.

See, more than just motorcycles in B'ham. Don't forget Vulcan!
