How much life are you getting out of your brake pads. Noticed my rear is worn with only 8000 miles. Guess I figured I would get more. The caliper is not sticking and the wheel rotates freely with correct alignment. pads are stock.

That's right at what I got from mine. Rear was gone, and the fronts only lasted about 1000 miles more.

Concur,
I've got 8300 miles on the clock and the rear pads are done.

I bought a set of stock pads [F/R] but have yet to install them.My original set have not worn out yet at 16,000+ miles. No squeaks or squeals and still nearly locks up the front with 2 fingers. :???:

I have cooked my fronts on my Bonneville in right at 6K. Ordered a set of EBC HH, will be in Thursday.

Need to check my rears, don't use them much so I doubt they are too bad off but admit I need to check.

The rear pads wore out faster than the front - had to replace the rear pads at about 6000 miles. I changed the fronts to EBC HH way before the stock pads were worn out. The local dealer said that they've seen a lot of the bonnies that eat through rear pads quickly. Odd, because I rely more heavily on the front brake - sometimes don't even use the rear to stop.
