Yes! Rotate them 180.. Float bowl flange on the cabs should be level with the fins on the head...

I am having a similar dilemma...the OEM rubbers have a wedge in the center where one side is fat and one side is narrow...which way does the wedge go? Fat side of rubber up or down?

Mine looks like its level but after reinstall the carbs touch the edge of the side covers?

It is odd that the service manual does not indicate the proper orientation.



Does it look ok?
