Has anybody mounted LED turnsignals on your Truxton/Bonneville? My mini signals just aren't bright enuogh. Are there mods required (i.e. diodes, relays etc.) to use LED's? I've searched this site, but can't find anything definitive. I'm thinking of using these winkies.

We've experimented with a bunch of the Lockhart LED blinkers (like the ones from Cyclegear). They simply aren't bright enough. They're cheap enough to experiment with but you get what you pay for. I have the Kellermann signals on a couple of our bikes and they're the best LED signal available IMO. We just got in a couple of the new Oberon blinkers as well. They are very nice and extremely bright I love the fact that they're open on both sides for greater visibility - CLICK.
As for the setup, relays, resistors, etc. I have found nothing that's as easy and effective as the LED flashers we use in our Speed Triple FEK. We have them HERE.

Thanks Brent. Can your flasher be used on the Thruxton, that is, does the Thruxton have a 3-pronged flasher?

You bet.
Yes. All the bikes we deal with (Bonneville, Thruxton, Scrambler, America, Speedmaster, Rocket III and Speed Triple) have 3 prong flashers.

Hey Brent,
I don't have LED turn signals, but I do have the minis pictured below from Rizoma. Although they're not LEDs, they still blink very fast. You think the resisters you link above would be effective to slow them down?

I have LED Kellermann's (white glass, but flash yellow) on my Thrux, and they are super bright.

It certainly should. I personally haven't installed these blinkers but the flasher is designed for use with any low draw lights.
