Anyone know who makes/sells this fender eliminator kit or just the brake/turn signal setup? Those pipes are cool too.

The licence plate is Gauteng (pronounced gaaw-teng - using a guttural gggg sound made in the back of the throat! ) a province or state in South Africa. Living in South Africa, albeit in the Western Cape (yet another province but much easier to pronounce) I know how difficult and expensive it is to get bolt on kits in South Africa. I'm guessing, but my sense is that both the "fender removal kit" and the silencer are custom made. Mine certainly are. Regrettably I don't know the owner but if you PM me with the source of the pic I might be able to help.

I found the pic while browsing the galleries.

Mainly i'm wondering where they got the brake light/turn signals. I think they look pretty sharp.

I have this very photo on by desk top. The silencers look like Conti replicas. They could be Bub units. This bike is way to sexy. :-D

Why is this? Taxes, duty laws?

There's actually some pipes that look like that over at Raisch Classic Bikes.

All the above and then add: no local resellers- you can't just go out and buy for example Staitunes (Australian), Norman Hyde or Jenks products (UK), Raask (Sweden) or any US produced bolt on product for example. Then and add shipping costs (huge distance and cost relative to the relatively low cost of the item, and then there's the problem of mail theft in SA unless you incur the additional cost of couriers rather than regular mail. Our exchange rate fluctuates widely and monetary policy favours exports in an attempt to create local employment. Imports are expensive. All this is pretty common in African countries. A stock new Thruxton retails (without taxes and on the road costs) for around USD 10,000 compared to I guess USD 7,000 in the US?

Hey Guys,

I used to do allot of business with my down under friends. Shipping is expensive, but not if you have patience. As well, taxes can be real high, unless the items are sent as gifts, replica's and examples.

Let me know if you guys need anything...

I am going to have to have my wife translate that German page for me. She's German, I still havn't leaned the language when my great great great grandparents came to the US they were beaten if they spoke German in school, this was during the times of WWI and WWII. They were ashamed of their country of origin and the language died in my family. So I never learned it, and when I met my wife in Germany while I was in the Army I couldn't speak it and now she has to teach me.
