Hello all,
Has anyone ordered from Raisch classicbike?
I wanted to order a few things, He told me he was not able to take credit card, but I could wire the money to his bank.
Are they on the level?

Oh, and stay clear of a company called Motolit.com. I ordered a shop manual only to find out later the guy is a total crook. If anyone knows where I could pick one up, Please let me know.

Thanks

I ran into the same thing when I contacted him last summer. I chose not to risk doing a bank wire transfer to someone I can't easily walk into their shop and wring their neck if they were to steal $1k plus bucks of my money.

He told me he gets orders from the U.S. all the time - but I still didn't want to risk it. It would be so much easier if they took a CC or escrow. He has alot of cool stuff.

New Bonneville is beginning to carry some of the parts offered by Raisch - I ordered some last week- not on their website yet but he has some in stock and ready to ship. Shot him an email to see if he can aquire what interests you.

If only that were true. Between Jess and I welcoming a new member to the family and one third of our employees (1 of 3 is 1/3rd, right ;-) being out for several weeks, it has been a challenge to keep things up to speed in January. My goal is to have the new items up throughout the course of this month.

I apologize for the delay in getting these items on the site but if you have any questions about any of the items, please don't hesitate in sending us an email.

Yea Whitehurst....where's your computer etiquette? Freakin' meanie!!! :hammer:

Hey Brent, I hope all is well with the new family.

I was drooling over the new chrome front fender Whitehurst got from you....it looks amazing.

By the way Brent, I think it's time for you to step up to the plate and add the "missing link" to your list of rides.......right at the bottom it needs to read:

'07 Thruxton :-D

Hi folks,

Rainer, the owner of Classicbike Raisch is the most honorable guy you can think of. He is totally customer focused and will do everything to satisfy you. Trust me!

He is the main supplier for Thruxton and Bonneville stuff in Germany. The members of the German Thruxton forum order from him all the time. And I never heard the slightest criticism.
He comes to our forum meetings. And many of us know him personally (including me). Last time I met him was at his home. He offered me to install the LSL clip-on elimination kit, which I had purchased from him.
He and his son did a fantastic job and didn't charge anything for the installation.
He is a true Triumph maniac..

That might sound a little too good to be true. But that's my personal experience with the guy.
