Who actually makes the Predator exhaust? And who are some of the better dealers to buy them through....that actually have them in stock? Have had a major delay with trying to get them through South Bay....very aggravating to say the least....Who knows of a dealer that actually carries these parts?? :???:

South Bay are the originator's of these pipes, and have them made up by a fabricator. Doubtful you'll find a dealer stocking them.

tex,

Give British Customs a call and speak with Sean. Great guy to work with. I had my pipes in less than a week. The last time I spoke with South Bay, I was told that BC is now a seperate company and has recently moved to a new location, and is no longer part of South Bay. As for BC dealers, we have two Triumph dealers here in Oregon that carry or can oder BC parts.

I bought my Predators from my local dealer, and I think you will find that a many dealers are willing to get them. In fact, they got a dealer discount, so it was no more expensive for me to get them through them than to get them direct.

I also had the AI removed, re-jetted, and got a dynotune all at the same time. As the back-pressure and breathing characteristics of your bike will change with the Predators, I would suggest that you will need to re-jet at the very minimum. Of course if you are handy and have the time, these are all things that you can do at home too (with the exception of the dynotune).
