Whitehurst ,yeah sorry we didn't hook up but I was really busy ...I helped my friend get his 73 Trident down to the shop pre ride ;he had broken his chain and knocked an oil line loose .There's a picture of him working on it with really oily hands.So I went and got my van ,loaded him up ,dropped him off ,went home got BACK on the bike and hauled butt down there ...took a few pics and rode off.The rest of the day went about as well ...I did half the ride at a spirited pace and realised that one of the guys I was with(from out of town)had crashed,so I went home again for the van,came back to find the chase truck had already got him ,so I got BACK on the bike and rode to the finish.And took some more pics!
Ha Ha sweat ,I knew you would appreciate that PBR can...That's the great thing about MVR ,you see absolute collector pieces and rat bikes all riding together..some fine cafe machines there .
The Monster /bobber was pretty cool ..I did a double take on that .And you would not believe how cool that yellow yamaha was,just spotless and sweet .

I wish their was a scene for MVR in Austin. There's a Tonup Houston club, but Austin is really the place I'd think a scene could flourish. Oh well, we do have the Lone Star Roundup. If you ever feel like making a trip to Austin that's a really good time to come. Mi casa su casa Andy.

The bar that the pre party was held at had a special on giant cans of PBR ,seems like half the crowd was drinkin' 'em.
And I am just gonna have to make it to Texas for some riding .Hill country and Austin and a pilgrimage to Gran Pauls.
