If you want the solid '07 stripe, can put a vynl stripe over it. That's what the previous owner of my bike had done.

They are one of the good ones I think.

The service is still expensive, and they often charge for more 'hours' than I believe are in a day.

Their mechanic, Jeremy, is a super cool and very knowledgeable guy. A very good wrench and I have no issues regarding his skills.

I work on my own bike. I can't afford to pay them to do it.

I had a "free" 500 mile service done there (since I bought the bike there), and it cost me over $100 bucks.

Our local dealer has the new model Thruxtons unavailable until 3/07. I still hope they will be British made. But I have my doubts. Tom

I was just in my local dealer today and they have a blaclk '07 Thruxton with a solid stripe and black fenders. I prefer the checkered stripes.

Other Motorcycle: None...dang it.
Extra Motorcycle: I wish.
Regarding Thruxton stripes:

If it has a solid stripe it's an '07. If it's a checkerboard it's an '06.

Period.

The left-over '06 bikes were supposed to include TORS and Triumph Bar End Mirrors at no charge. I believe that deal was good from early November to the end of December. I haven't had a chance to log into the Triumph dealer site yet this year to check and see if it carries over into January or not.

Sorry I missed you today Gary. I was at the shop for about an hour just before noon.

How's that sidecar project coming?

I was in the shop just before closing...had to pick up my sons wheel, which had a new knobby tire mounted. My Thruxton is still up in Seattle having sidecar mounts fabricated, BTW, I just registered on your website.

P.S. Sorry bout the hijack, Tex-ton.
