I gave up on Rocker jackets many years ago, they seem to bulk up to much around the back and neck when in the riding position of a Cafe Racer.
Interesting. My Lewis follows the original '50s pattern...thus cut for high-waisted pants. So it's nice and sleek even in a crouch. It's my modern Dainese jacket that bunches up because it's cut like a "regular" jacket.

My rule of thumb is if you can't see your belt buckle with your jacket zipped up, it's going to bunch up.

Mine doesn't bunch up, it just rides up my back and shows my ass to the world as I'm leaned way over.

I have to be sure to wear a shirt long enough to tuck in.

I was looking at this one for the problem Smachine was having, the ride up in the back till your crack is exposed.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about Vanson?

Vanson makes some very nice jackets. Pants, too. Lots og guys out here ride in Vanson. Let me just plug Johnson Leather one more time. All their stuff is very Vanson-ish. Same quality, but you might save a $100 or so.

How much do you want to spend?

Draggin Jeans sells a $170 flattracker style jacket that has elbow protection. I've had the Triumph Retro jacket for close to seven years and love it.

Belstaff Trialmaster. They've been bought by some fashion house but still make some of the cooler coats. And of course there is always used...

Steve McQueen's Belstaff is at auction now. Starting bid $30K. I paid a little less for mine.

Whitehurst,

If you happen to ride a black/opal T100, or even a Bonnie black... I think the new Triumph Hawk jacket would look awesome.

However, I wear a V 1.8 from FOX CREEK. The quality of their leather and craftsmanship is top notch. I'm totally satisfied with my jacket.

My jacket choices were:

1. Belstaff Montana
2. Triumph Riveton
3. Vanson Comet
4. Lewis Monza
5, Spidi Black

I went for the Belstaff Montana........I'm very happy with it.

The Lewis would have been the one but it's just a little to much dinero
for me. More mods to my Thruxton come first.......they never end!
