Some San Fracisco classic bikes riders got together for a ride recently, with a nice photo shoot. Couple of noteworthy bikes included a Vincent bobber, and a Rickman Kawasaki. I love the ducktail seat on the Kawasaki.

That Kawa is a diamond in the rough - very cool bike. A great starting point for a killer cafe with minimal work. I gotta agree on the Vincent with caspianthruxton - I am a Bobber fan but doing that to a Vincent just isn't right. That is one of the coolest looking motors ever. JCW

I agree, the Kawasaki is great. I also agree about the Vincent. One can only hope he had a spare engine lying around, a completely unrelated frame, and a lot of time on his hands. Otherwise I can't even imagine the thought process that would have produced this bike.

Alas, it's not a unique sacrilege though. Here's another one:

Hotch Vincent

I'd love to have a Vincent bobber, if done well, like Matt Hotch has. I'd rather have something that looked like it'd been run on some salt flats though, not hollywood blvd. A nice hardtail really stripped down would rule. The sacrilege only adds to the coolness.

The matt hotch bike would have worked, but to put that rare of a motor (which it wasnt a real vincent motor anyway) in a stretched chop frame with those ridicoulous oversized wheels is just stupid. It just doesn't work for me.

And the vincent bobber? ehhh...not my cup of tea either.

cheers, jason
