So I'm thinking about turning my stock Bonnie into a café styled racer. I was looking at (and reading the threads about) the Norman Hyde Ace bars together with their rearsets.
But what mirrors should I go with?
The Napoleon bar ends looks like they'll make the width impossible for lane splitting. Or if I twist them in toward the center of the bike don't they get in the way of the clutch/brake handles? Or is there enough clearance?

Of course I browsed the JP cycles online catalog, but phew, way toooooo many options and I have no idea which of those metric ones will fit my Triumph. Anyone with more experience?

Thanks!

You "might" be okay with the narrower bars. I too am in the LA area (live in OC, work in LA Cnty) and lane splitting is somewhat mandatory to get to and from work. On my Thruxton with stock bars, I went to one mirror with the Napoleons. I now have Rizomas with do not "stick out" as much.

The Napoleons do swing out and in (they rotate at the arm) and did not interfere with my daily drive, though I would not leave them that way for normal riding. Also visibility got reduced when moved in (but not really needed for lane split - don't care what's behind me in traffic).

and it's Cafe Racer, not "cafe styled racer" unless of course you're Paul Teutel, Jr (aka douche special).
