I'm running way rich! The bike ran great for a while, but then the air intake fell off and now it's running super rich. I can smell it, it's got tons of pop when I lift, and she just doesn't feel right.

What do I do? I bought her last week and put 500 miles on her before the intake fell off. By the way, it's a K&N piece and it was on the right side carb. I'm a carb newbie so I have NO idea what I'm doing.

Should be lean with air intake off. Put it back on, make sure all clamps are tight on both intakes.

The intake went back on right away. She's still popping like kettle corn

make sure the plugs on the intake manifold haven't dry rotted and cracked.
sounds like a manifold leak to me...
break out the wd-40 or carb cleaner and spray it around the manifold and listen for rpm increases...
good luck...
