Hi all
I received my AI kit today and noticed the
replacement bolts fit a 12mm socket. As I havent
removed the bolts from the bike yet, the instructions
advise to use a 13mm socket to remove them.

Is this correct? Are they different sizes? Why??

Whist on this topic. What "anti seize" product have members been using on the thread?

thanks

You need tow different sockets. The aftermarket AI plugs are 1mm smaller, no big deal. Think of it as a weight saving :-D .

I use Permitex anti-seize because it is common. All of the auto supplies in this part of the world stock this brand.

Healy,

Go down to your local Autobarn, Repco or Supercheap and get a tube of Loctite 771 high temp anti-seize. Made for the job.
