Well it been a week now , made the run to the Utah Salt Flats and Millers race track for the week of the Sept 13 - 16 . It all was a great time met up with other bikers of all types on the road all wanted to know about my Thruxton and how it ran down the interstate . Well let me tell you all it ran great never gave me any problem never got sore at all , ran it at 80 to 90 mph all the way from lower Oregon Idaho ,thru Utah and Nevada (had side winds and hard rain) (65mph Washington the rest of the time) and it handle at all speeds great . remember I’m 6’4 260lb
Its by far the best handling motorcycle I’ve ever rode and I’ve ridden lots of road bikes.
Out on the Salt Flats there was Tony on His Thruxton ( black bike ) I’ve got to do this next year. He was running in the 130mph club
The rider and drivers out at the Salt Flat where great, they all where willing to tell you about their bikes and cars that they where running everything about the motors and what modifications had been done to it. First class all the way, you could walk around and see it all . The same for Millers GP racing I got lots of information from them going back next year for sure
Thank once more for all the fun time, too all of you who went out on the salt and at Miller can’t wait until next year!
see you then
thanks
rtt
