One thing I wont do and that is increase the rev limit. I believe it is where it is stock for a reason! But yeah i have been told I could get up to 85 rwhp with reverse cones, better carbs and cams.

The power curve on my Dyno peaked at 7000 rpm, and then started falling off.

To be honest I am running a 19 tooth sprocket and it has a top speed of 110 mph and gets there pretty quick (at redline). I personally don't believe that I should over rev the engine, especially considering that I want the girl to last forever!

A candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long..or something!

If you're talking about Radford's Bonnie from the open house .. pretty sure he's running a 904 ci kit and his 'hacked up ecu' is a hp ignition box that's available from any of the state side vendors and even eBay. The 10 rwhp difference between our bikes comes from the Big Bore kit as well as the slider carbs.
I didn't think he was running a big bore kit. Regardless thats a bunch of power from a Bonnie.

It's actually typical results from a big bore kit and carbs - and alot of people here on this forum lately have been going with the same combo. All it takes is money or a good line of credit. I'm curious to see what JCW puts to the back wheel with his route. Then there's Scott's frankenbonnie he's resurrecting ... and it should be VERY interesting as well. He's shootin for triple digits.
:wow:

I know Jojje did them across to pond....I thought someone may have found a way to do them stateside. Right now, the procom boxes are meant for the now defuct 790's.

I sure did. I was initially concerned as my LSL clipons have the smaller inside diameter so I removed the bar end part and now they clamp down to the outside of the bars, rather than the ends.

They look great, first rate piece of kit. Can't thank you enough.
