You paid about 6-800 less than I did, just 3 weeks ago, so I'd say you got one heck of a deal. Nice score!

You guys do't know how lucky you are (or is it that we don't know how UNlucky we are?)!!!
A new Thruxton costs nearly $11,000 on the road here in the UK.

Not many deals to be had either! Maybe an accessory fitted but the dealers are VERY reluctant to cut the prices.

I bought an 18 month old black 'un with 1,800 miles on the clock and TOR pipes, excellent condition, $7,600.
And to me, that was a bargain!!

And the ***** things are made over here, so how come, even with transportation costs across the water, and then road freight costs, you guys get such an awesome deal?

Come on, just emigrate to Norway and buy yourself a Thruxton up here..... $20.900 ready for the road, or $21.600 with TOR's fitted.... that was what I paid two years ago... and have filled her up with petrol for around $7,20 a gallon (US) ever since... expensive?

If the UK is the same as Sweden I think the prices are preset by Triumph and dealerships are not allowed to move away from those prices. On the other hand the dealer will throw a shed load of extras at you, I seem to remember getting leather jacket, trousers and boots thrown in.

Oh as a foot note the Thrux costs $12,296 up here so maybe our Norwegian friends could sneak over the border. :-D

Not much joy on the gas front thou..........we pay $6.55 for a US gallon at the mo
