The classic cafe style has really grown on me in the past year. I'd like to hear all of your ideas on making my naked 95 S3 more "cafe" styled

I've ditched the rear fender (not shown), want to ditch the mirrors for bar ends, as well as ditch the directionals for a mini set. Oh and I have the seat cowl.

What's she need? Feel free to do a little photoshopping :-D

Those 6-piston Tokico calipers, used on a lot of Jhap bikes like the ZRX, will bolt right on. Get rid of the grab rail, chop down the front fender. Bolt the plate against the inner mudguard. Ditch the hugger. Put on some tricky looking clipons and a steering dampner. Some rim-striping tape from tapeworks.com.

PS., All these things have been discussed on the various forums, just gottta look.

Probably not what you want to hear - but

I'd keep it just as it is, the black T3 speed trip is a real classic and a real looker - its already a kind of modern cafe

I'd just de-clutter it. Like TB said, remove the grab rail, the inner fender. A megaphone might look cool, but probably not against the more modern lines of the S3. Dump the rear pegs.

Not REALLY a bike to cafe, to tell you the truth. Still, in addition to all the other suggestions, maybe mounting some kind of cafe seat? That whole plastic, swooped-back rear bodywork is cumbersome. Any way to simplify it?

Like TBS's bike, seems like you could fit T bird parts to your bike with some work. This bike was done by Mecatwin in france.-T1

Those are good suggestions, just clean it up. I suggest losing all the stickers too, give it a more stealthy look. All black would be cool. That is, if the stickers aren't underneath clearcoat or something.

Adam Kells did this:

grab bar removed as suggested. I dont know many other details but I think he tuned it a fair bit.

Swapping to TBS bits would cause major headaches as the frame assembly is very different (speed3 has a totally different and welded on rear subframe)

I guess the real question is how radical do you want to get?

Most of these are more Hooligan than Cafe. The third one (with the fairing) is along the lines of what I meant when I suggested adding a cafe seat. I like the Seventh one (the orange one). It strikes me as being somewhere between Hooligan and Cafe.
