Ain't that the truth!

I really like this example of a cafe racer they created too:

It WAS a good price! I picked it up on Friday. This will be my first bike and so far it has been a lot of fun, only managed to put about 100 miles on it so far. I had been trying to get a new '03 T100 that the dealership in Tyler, TX still had laying around, but they wouldn't budge on their $6299 price. I just couldn't see paying that when the avg retail was listed around $4900. So I figure that an '04 Thruxton with 2k miles for $400 less was a much better deal. :-D

What kind of handle bars are on that Thrux you just bought? Maybe it was the picture, but them look like bars from a Bonnie.

Yeah, I think that the bars are the same as the Bonnie bars. They told me that they might have the originals lying around somewhere, but I forgot to ask them to look around before I left. I left the owner's manual there, so if I go back to get it I may ask them about the bars.

Since its your first bike you should start off with the handlebars. Once you are more used to and comfortable with the bike you could switch them.
