How did you get the clutch lever to reach?

I've just installed Tommaselli's on my Thrux and I've tried it on both sides of the fork tube with no luck

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey surferjo, I raised my clipons above the yoke. the cable is routed between the left fork and the neck. I can't recall haveing a great deal of trouble getting it to work. the clip ons are still at the same angle as they came from the factory. sorry I can't be of more help.

I found some good pictures of the cables with clip ons above the yoke in Thruxtonone's album. he has lots of very good shots of the routing. http://www.triumphrat.net/modules.ph...view_photo.php I hope this link works.

wutup surferjoe,
As I recall there is a little clamp on the left side of the frame that holds down the clutch cable. you need to free the cable from that. Once I moved the clipons I was able to reattach, but you need the cable to be loose for manuevering. I'm not sure if you'll be able to reattach with your configuration, I think that thrux-ton-up secured the cable elsewhere....

SJo- I eliminated one clamp for the cable and only use one of the factory clambs (top one) to secure it. A small zip -tie about 1" below the top factory frame mount keeps the cable secure and away from the exhaust pipe. John

Ahhh I see (said the blind man).

I figured that was the way to go but rather than just start ripping stuff out it couldn't hurt to see what you other lunitics did

Thanks again.
