sixty8 website

No hard details, i.e. will the tank accessories fit the slightly different Thruxton tank, but there are some cool toys from what I can see. I would love the monochrome UK flag design on my tank, for example.

This bike is beautiful, I love the color scheme...

I could do without the bags and headlight cover though.

I dont get what a headlight cover's supposed to do, or be reminiscent of....? Where do you store it at dusk. I know, a leather headlight cover holder bag that attaches to the outside of the leather saddle bags ($192.00 at the Triumph Parts & Accessories counter). Saddle bags not included.

That tank pad....what's up with that? I mean, really, what the hell's up with that thing? It's not like the Bonnie's brakes are gonna slam your boys into the tank.

Is there historical precedence for all these parts & accessories, or are they the brainchild of some parts department guys at Triumph in their attempt to boost profits. I guess this is how you pimp out your Bonnie.

Something about this stuff reminds me of the plastic covers my great aunt had on her furniture.

Whatever. :???:

C'mon, guys, don't hold back - tell us how you really feel!

I admit most of it is pretty ugly, but those polycarbonate tank badges are kinda neat and to get the Triumph Traditional Badge in different colors to match your paint scheme is kinda neat, too. I'm waiting for the neon tubes for the bottom.

Kidding.

Nice looking saddlebags. $345 for black or brown leather... not bad...

And those bags wont fit my Thruxton. If I found some good hardcase bags that looked good on my thrux, I could pay a lot for them.

I wonder if one of those tankcovers would be good for keeping a tankbag from scratching the tank?

There must be SOME historical precedent as even the Ace Cafe sells headlight covers:

And I've seen that style of tank pad on numerous vintage racers.

Hasn't it been somewhat confirmed that having the headlight on during the day (and especially at night) provides an additional safety feature for those that would ignore an on-coming motorcycle??

I've seen those tank pads that Mancha's talking about and they are real short, sort of square deals that you'd put your chin on when running extended highspeed in the old days. These pads look like a floatation belt strapped across the Bonnie's tank. Will she float???!!!!

Holy JC Whitney. Neon tubes? You do mean DUEL neon tubes don't you? They would have to match the color of the saddle bags and seat to continue the s-brindle scheme.
