Guys,
I decided on the LSL Sport Match Clip Ons. Should have them this week.

Just need some help on mirrors as I want to use bar ends.

According to MotoTwin the Halcyon's won't fit.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I would like a mirror that has a set similiar to the Halcyon / Napoleans.

Thanks,

Tony

LSLs have a narrower ID than standard 7/8" bars. When I bought Skyking mirrors I had him turn the inserts (two metal pieces that expand inside the bar to hold it in place) down to 9mm, IIRC. Unfortunately I'm not too fond of the Skyking mirrors, they don't angle in enough so I have to shift to the side to use them, so I'm going to look for an alternative.

You might contact LSL to see which mirrors will fit.

To sum up, any mirrors will work provided to can decrease the diameter of the inserts.

TBSS,

I sent you on PM on this. I noticed you are using Napoleon's with you LSL. How did they work out? Any major modding to fit?

Thanks,

Tony

Hi Guys,

Just found these, what do you think? I will see if I can fit them inside the LSL bars next week.

Regards

Well since this is now a thread here is how I responded to Tony.

The choices amount to different mirrors or Napoleans with inserts that will fit 14mm ID. I actually sent Tony to look at those as they offer them to fit ID as small as 12mm. Conversley you could buy the hollow bar adapters made for CRGs (about $16 per) and then use those inserts on your mirror of choice.

I had more luck Googling on "Renthal Bar End Mirrors" since Rs are way more common than LSLs and they have the same narrower ID.

The Oberon Mirrors look good because you can attach them to either the top, or the end and they have some weight to them.

Thanks TBvS. Appreciate the help. I not really diggin' those round ones from the UK.

So, basically the best bet is to get the CRG hollow bar adapter and insert them into the Napoleons.

Right? Also, I should get the Napoleons for 7/8 bars? Correct.

Appreciate all the help.

Thanks,

Tony

Oliver - I have the Oberon mirrors on our Speed Triple with LSL bars. They work and look great.
