Hi all!

I got a 04 Thruxton and I was wondering what is the size of the A.I. removal plug (thread size and socket size, length of the thread). Is it normal metric thread? I don´t want to order plugs from mc dealer (none here, don´t want to order from but buy plugs from local car part store. Somebody mentioned that some Nissan oil pan drain plugs fit well. More deatails please. I don´t want to remove and measure my A.I now because I have to ride with bike to work. Did you use some copper washers between cylinder head and plug?

They're M12 x 1.25mm pitch x 14mm long. If I remember correctly, before we started making them, I used plugs from a 1996 Altima (I think...). You can re-use the copper washers from the AI tubes but new washers are recommended.

Thanks for a fast reply Brent. I am going to a local car parts store now.

By the way Brent, my order arrived to the customs today. Still waiting to get them out and start wrenching.
