anyone checked out this site? i like his whale tank.... and the the one with the burgundy scallops (the last one on his list). www.benjiescaferacer.com his hondas look good. says he works on british but i havent seen any. mike

Yeah, I like his stuff. If he sold a similar tank to fit the Thruxton at that price, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I've been checking out his stuff for quite some time(before my thrux I had a couple of 70's hondas). He primarily works on old hondas, they're a good cheap starting platform, but he has done a few older triumphs as well. He's got a great sense of style, and is definitely worth checking out. He sells completed projects on ebay from time to time under the name oreoexileflippr.

Anyone know where this guy lives? Care to loan him your bike so he could start making us some Triumph tanks? I think someone should remind him that people who buy old CB750s to cafe are poor, but we Triumph owners are rich (tongue firmly in cheek).

nah, that's more like a cb550. similar shape in front, but not as narrow in back.
