Might be a silly question (not a mechanic by any means) but where is a vacuum hose located on the clutch side of the bike??

OK - found the answer (THX Mike/BellaCorsa) ... it is the hose running from the carb to the manifold .... capping the nipple is a 'poor-mans' way of eliminating the air being fed to the exhaust .....
