Went for a ride out to lunch today and when I got home it was like Christmas time. Not one but two packages. Alloy foot pegs in one and my 6 piston caliper in the other. So with new chain, sprockets, oil, fork oil, brake fluid, fresh GT 501 Dunlops, EBC HH rear pads and the front caliper and EBC HH pads, I'm ready for the season.

Pegs went on in about 2 minutes, front caliper and set-up about 40 minutes - 30 of which where bleeding (well trying to) that freaking front brake system out.

Test ride - REALLY love that 19 tooth front sprocket. Haven't gone full bore on the brakes yet - I want to bed them in a little first. But initial impressions make the normal grin on my face into a full bore smile. I'll give the brakes a good work out at the Dragon the end of this month. JCW

Whew, wish my installation had taken only 40 minutes. How many shims did you end up using? I believe T1 said he used four (by which I assume he meant four on each bolt). I ended up using three on each bolt. There's not much room between the caliper and my spokes though. I may end up taking one off.

I like the red banjo bolt.

I like the foot pegs as well. I have them also and they really hold the bottom of your foot.

Keith - I'll be there from Thur - Sunday. Hitting the Dragon Raid as a one day affair since its only 72 miles from home. JCW

Mancha - ended up with 2 shims on each bolt - centered the caliper pretty close to perfect. The pegs do work great and clean up that area nicely. JCW
